Some turning points come with fanfare—others arrive quietly, disguised as ordinary days. Mine had both.
I remember sitting in the parking lot of Lowe’s Home Improvement, watching the parked cars. What had begun as an exciting chapter in my life, working at Lowe’s, now felt like a drag. I was stressed at work, frustrated with my life, and kept asking myself, “Is there something else I could do?”
This wasn’t what I envisioned in my early 20s, when I had my three children—Madeline, Genevieve, and Lauren. Back then, my main goal was simply to work and provide. I spent a couple of years as an electrical contractor, then sold lumber home accessories like doors and windows. Life shifted when I got a sales job at Lowe’s. That role evolved into management, and for years, I worked with the same contractors, solving problems, and managing people.
Fifteen years passed. My kids grew up, and I stayed in the same position—working constantly, no longer growing, and feeling burnt out.
A friend suggested real estate, but going full-time commission felt risky. Instead, I got a warehouse manager job offer in Alabama. Perfect! I quit Lowe’s, ready to move…until, at the last minute, I got a phone call. The company told me my position had been terminated before it even started. I had already quit my job at Lowe’s and, suddenly, I was unemployed.
I considered going back to Lowe’s, but I knew that would crush me. Literally, it would give me a stroke. I needed a new job that would give me life, not shorten it. With my youngest in college, it felt like the right moment to take a risk.
In 2019, I became a REALTOR® while bartending part-time. About a year later, my business took off—I’ve averaged about $5 million in sales annually ever since. More importantly, I’m happy. My work gives me life instead of draining it, and I finally have time to enjoy living.
I love walking my dog, spending time with my daughters and my mom, and trying new restaurants with my daughter, who’s a master chef. I’m a foodie through and through—wings, sushi, anything delicious. I even enjoy going out to dinner with clients.
Helping my community is just as important. I lost my dad when I was 12, and suddenly I was responsible for caring for the house. That experience, though painful, shaped my caretaker mentality. We’re all struggling with something, and if I can make life easier for someone, I will.
That’s why I love the Rotary Club. As president, I lead fundraising for nonprofits—everything from teaching money management to offering pickleball classes for people with limited mobility. Real estate may be my career, but service, connection, and enjoying life are what truly define me.
Born and raised in the area, I bring deep local market expertise and a genuine commitment to my clients’ best interests. As a REALTOR®, my advice is always direct, honest, and caring—I’ll tell you when an option isn’t right for you, and I’ll highlight opportunities that truly benefit you. One of my greatest strengths is resolving issues quickly. I address challenges as they arise, communicate calmly, and keep clients informed every step of the way.
With a background in construction and home improvement, I can evaluate properties with a critical eye, identifying potential costly repairs before they become surprises. My extensive local network means I have trusted vendors—plumbers, electricians, and more—ready to handle any construction or repair need.
Whether you’re buying your first home or adding to your investment portfolio, I provide the same level of care, insight, and professional support. From residential to commercial real estate, I ensure every transaction is handled with efficiency, transparency, and the goal of achieving the best possible outcome for my clients.
Sincerely,
